Ceramic details
These pieces are crafted from 景德镇 高白瓷 – first thrown by wheel, and completed by hand to create organic movement in the pieces, while keeping a clean silhouette.

The tall foot of each bowl was not coiled on separately, but pinched by hand as one entire piece - giving rise to varying heights for each piece.

*because porcelain is fired at higher than average temperatures, the foot may develop subtle irregularities where it rested on the kiln shelf. These small variations are a natural result of high-temperature firing and are unique to each piece. They are confined to the foot and do not affect the function, durability, or stability of the work.
